Forklift - Gutless!
We have an electric (battery operated) fork-lift which we use to unload and load carpets. Even though we charged the batteries every night, we would still run out of power during the day. New Batteries No-Way! Our Auto Electrician recommended new batteries at a cost of about $4,500. But I thought a Megapulse battery maximizer at a bit over $100 was a better investment. Two years later...
The forklift still goes but now with PLENTY of GRUNT even on those old batteries. The batteries hold so much power now that we only put the charger on ONCE a WEEK, even though we are much busier than 2 years ago.
The Megapulse could easily be the best investment I have made. You get the benefit of much more available power in your batteries almost immediately.
All batteries are subjected to sulphation and sulphation prevents your battery from operating efficiently. Sulphation is a goo or build-up on your lead battery plates (lead sulphate crystallisation). So your battery cannot absorb enough of the charge coming in, they permanently have a resistance to being charged. It is not a "memory" but it is a similar problem, which continually gets worse and worse.
In the forklift example above, even though the battery charger was connected all night, the sulphation on the plates prevented the batteries from absorbing very much charge at all. So the forklift ran out of power quickly. Once the sulphation goo (crystallisation) was removed from the plates by the Megapulse the whole surface area of the plates was able or available to absorb charge.
That is why the battery charger only needed to be applied once a week, instead of once a night! The Megapulse really does work.
